Had a button pop off my shirt last week.
Two weeks before that I wanted to replace all the buttons on my blazer.
Just yesterday I noticed the top button on my favorite two-button sport jacket was about to come off.
So yeah, it helps to know how to sew on a button!
But do you know how?
In the info-graphic below I show you exactly how to do it in detail so that you can even hand off the task to someone who has never handled a needle and thread!
This new men’s style info-graphic is brought to you by my friends over at Lee Jeans. I’m wearing their modern series denim right now as I type, and find they make great all purpose jeans I can wear in the office, on the road, and even at a conference (matched with a jacket of course!).

And remember – when someone says sewing isn’t manly, just remind them that even Rambo knew how to sew and make his own clothing/stitch wounds!
Plus who wants to pay $5-10 for each button you need sewed on? A man should be self sufficient!
Any stories of how your sewing skills have helped save the day?
