This article is in support of 10 Tips to Whiten Your Teeth| A Man’s Ultimate Guide to Teeth Whitening.
In that article I gave you 10 options to whiten your teeth.
In this article I give you a DETAILED review of the home teeth whitening system I used from DazzlePro.
I personally tested the following products from DazzlePro:
* The Smilepacks 7-Day Whitening System (2 kits)
* The 20 Minute Smile Makeover
* The Professional Teeth Whitening System (Their premium product)
I found all three systems to be effective – and over a period of 14 days saw my teeth whiten by about 5 to 6 shades with NO PAIN.
And the best part?

In the past I’ve used a number of similar products like Crest 3D White Strips and a few other brands.
What I found was that they just made my teeth hurt.
I have REALLY sensitive teeth when it comes to cold and chemicals, so for me it was great to find a company with so many solutions that didn’t irritate my teeth.
How do I know it? Because I tested all of them.

The Three Teeth Whitening Systems I Tested:
1. Smilepacks 7-day Whitening System
This is the first system I tried and it comes in a 7-day or 10-day product. This is probably going to be the right solution to begin with.
Of the two the 10-day product is probably the most economical if you just want to try this out. With the RMRS70 discount code I would grab a few.
The Package
Inside the box, the system comes with 1 treatment per day so it has 7 or 10 treatments depending on which option you choose. The instructions are all on the outside of the packaging.
According to the packaging, the main ingredients are:
- Glycerin
- Water
- Hydrogen Peroxide (11% solution)
If you have no experience with teeth whitening systems – that’s not a very strong treatment.
For each treatment, there’s an upper and lower part that fits right on your teeth. After applying it you leave it on for 20 minutes. I found that I could easily be on the Internet for 20 minutes just moving around while having the it on my teeth.
Mostly I found the treatment pretty painless. When I used the product the first time I experienced a bit of irritation. I’m sure that was because I had excessive saliva in my mouth and I was moving it around a lot. With later uses I did a better job of not moving it around in my mouth and it went better.
I used the system at night, before I went to bed. Before using the product I would brush my teeth and floss. I also rinsed my mouth, but I didn’t brush afterwards and it didn’t feel like I had a residue left over in my mouth.
I must admit that I wasn’t completely consistent. About 5 out of the 7 nights I used it I did use it at night at about the same time. The other 2 times I missed it the night before and did it the next day. So there were a few times I went longer than 24 hours between the treatments.
I never tried to do 2 treatments in one day. I spread it out because I was worried about my sensitive teeth issue. I experienced no problems and I did see a significant difference.
The instructions claim you can wear the treatments for 20 to 45 minutes but I only wore them for 20 minutes. I saw the 20 minutes and never went beyond that. Apparently you could wear them for 45 minutes and since I never felt any irritation, except for that first time, I’m confident you can.
The product says you can improve your teeth’s whiteness by about 5 shades: “in 3 easy steps.”
After using the 7 day whitening system, I’m inclined to agree. I completed 7 treatments and ultimately I noticed about 4 shades improvement.
Of all the treatments – I found this to be the simplest to use and as I used it first saw the largest gain in terms of whiteness. I also felt the concentration was lower in these packs – thus making them great for sensitive teeth treatment.
The Cons
The one thing I didn’t like about DazzlePro, which I’ll tell the founder Alex about when I see him at Stylecon, is that he needs to give more instructions on the inside of the packages. The instructions are on the box, but it’s all over the place and you have to figure it out.
2. Twenty Minute Smile Makeover![Dazzlepro 20 Minute Smile Makeover]()
The Package
This product comes with the mouthpiece that I liked the best out of the different systems. It’s really spongy and has two holes in it that means your breathing is not as restricted as it is with similar products. It’s a nice little mouth guard that fits well and I reckon if I go play sports, I now have an extra mouth guard.
Using the Product
The product felt a little bit stronger and that may be why it’s a once-off product. Using this product was pretty simple: You take the mouth guard out of its foil pouch and put it in your mouth where you leave it for 20 minutes. Then you take it out and rinse your mouth.
When I mentioned this product to my dentist, she told me her whitening regime consists of a week-long whitening treatment every year or two. She would also have a once-off treatment every 6 month and she felt this system would be ideal for that in-between treatment.
The Results
Of all the products, this one had the highest concentration and at first seemed to offer the least value.
I noticed a one shade difference, and REALLY liked the feel and fit of the mouthpiece. It is meant to be a one off you use to refresh your white smile after not using the above 7-day teeth whitening systems for 6 months.
In that respect – this is a great supplemensal product and I plan on using them before I travel to speak at conferences or film a large batch of videos.
The Cons
This is a one-use product that I used in conjunction with the other systems I used. The packaging also did not clearly state the percentage of Hydrogen Peroxide – but I felt it more than the above 7-day system. It didn’t hurt – but I could feel it.
3. Professional Teeth Whitening System
I know some of you may be wanting a bit more: Maybe you have really yellow teeth, maybe you want more control. If that’s you, the Professional Teeth Whitening System is the option for you.
One thing I didn’t like about the Smilepacks system was that I only got to use it 7 times. I found with both the previous products that they had too much material and you could have gotten away with less, which is what this system does.
The Package
The premium kit comes with 2 injectors and mouth guard moulds that shape themselves to your own teeth. It also came with a special Mini Cold Blue LED light .
The research I read on this confirms that the LED light speeds up the whitening process. There’s some debate on how significant the contribution is but it was a nice addition that some people swear by.
The first injector is 10 cc of 35% Professional Carbamide Peroxide whitening gel. From my experience, you’re only going to use about half to a quarter of a cc per application. So you could get anything from 10 to 20 uses from the premium kit.
The second injector contains 3 cc of re-mineralizing gel to strengthen the enamel of your teeth.
Using the Product
This product did come with a good set of instructions which you have to take out of the container.
I have to say it was really nice to have mouth guards that I could form to my teeth. Initially I didn’t like these as much and I will say that the system is not very clear about forming the mouth guard.
You have to cut the mouth guard to fit into your mouth and smooth them off. You don’t want them going too far above your teeth.
When I first looked at the molds I thought I had to pick one, before I realized I had to form them both to my teeth. So that wasn’t really clear and I wish it had been.
On the front part of the mold is a tag to hold onto while dipping it into hot water. I didn’t use boiling water, but I used close to boiling water and just added some cold water.
I then put the mouth guard in and formed it by putting it in my mouth and biting into it. It took about 30 seconds to form the mould.
When I did this I felt the mold went a bit high and irritated my gums a bit, which is why I suggested you might want to trim it off a bit.
With this system you don’t inject anything into your body. The injectors are used to inject the two solution into your mouth guard mould.
The first injector contains the whitening agent. I did feel that it was a bit stronger than the 7 or 10-day Smilepacks system. The good thing is you can simply use less of it.
When you’re filling the mouth guards up with the solution for the first time, be careful. Pull a little bit back on the injector to create a bit of negative pressure. Otherwise if you pushed on it, the solution is going to shoot out and you don’t have too much of it.
I put about 1/4 cc on first and then another ¼ cc which gave me 20 treatments. I wasn’t looking to whiten the back of my teeth, so I put some of the whitener on my finger and put it onto the front of my teeth. I made sure I got it on at the right places, instead of putting it on the mouth guard and just rubbing it around on my teeth.
The instructions say you can leave it in for 30 minutes to 45 minutes to an hour. That’s one thing that wasn’t consistent: 45 minutes to an hour is a big difference to me.
What it comes down to is not to go beyond an hour. You want to go up to the point you feel comfortable with and if you start to feel a lot of sensitivity take it out.
The second syringe contains a re-mineralizer. Often our own saliva will re-mineralize our tooth enamel, but not always.
I talked about it in my 10 Tips to Whiten Your Teeth article. When you chew gum, you create more saliva and that’s been shown to re-mineralize your tooth enamel.
But a lot of people don’t have a lot of saliva. If you’ve watched enough of my videos, you’ll see I often get a dry mouth as well. For that reason, the re-mineralizer was a nice addition.
After you put the mouth-guard in with the treatment you then place the Mini Cold Blue LED light over the mouth-guard and hold it there. You can even hold it between your lips if you want to. Probably not something you want to do in public.
The light has replaceable batteries, so you could re-use it again and again.
I didn’t see whether they just sold the syringes with the treatment, but you could probably find it elsewhere on its own.
Because of the amount of treatments you can stretch this to (20) – this is the BEST VALUE of all the systems I tested. It also came with the re-mineralizer and LED light – which as an extra bonus.
If I had to choose ONE system – this would be it as it has full control and comes with the most options /ability to whiten your teeth over a longer period. I used this in conjunction with the other two above, and thus saw 2-3 shades of difference with 3 uses.
The Cons
The instructions were a bit unclear, especially on was how to form up the mouth guard mold.
The time periods to keep the product in also seemed inconsistent: I recommend you start with 20-30 minutes and only stretch it to an hour after you are more confident using the system.
DazzlePro: The Company
One of the reasons I was happy with DazzlePro is that it’s all made in the USA. I see a lot of companies out there that are getting their products from China or other places.
Now let me be clear – I love the Chinese. I’ve been there and it’s a great country, but what I don’t like is that their products are not as well regulated as what I’ll find from something coming out of Europe or the USA. When it comes to things I’m putting in my body, I like things that are made here in the USA.
Overall I was very impressed with the company, the service, and their products.
This is an affiliate system so if you go over there and purchase, you’re supporting RMRS.
I think Alex is running a great company right here in the USA. He’s an immigrant and he’s built this up from the ground – he’s a modern American success story and I’m happy to support his company.
